A couple of days ago, this video came up in my YouTube suggested video’s & caught my attention.

In my own opinion on the face of it i think i’d prefer a light that comes on in sync with the rear brake light rather than trust one that is just guessing, but still when you think about it central brake lights are common on cars & usually get your attention better than the conventional side mounted lights, plus you can often see them through car windows or over the car roof with your bike riding position, so you can usually see if the car in front of the one you are following is braking.
