Staffordshire welcomes bikers. (if you didn't already know) Staffordshire is a landlocked county within the North Western corner of the Midlands of England. It borders with Cheshire to the northwest, Derbyshire and Leicestershire to the east, Warwickshire to the southeast, West Midlands and Worcestershire to the south, and Shropshire to the west.
Staffordshire is also probably the most biker friendly county in the UK with regards the projects and initiatives the Staffs Biker team help put on throughout the year with the aim of reducing motorcycle casualties on the county roads in a way that isn't all about the authorities just handing out fines and points on your license.. Put it this this way, we'd sooner hand out stickers, keyrings and pens to get our message across to protect bikers and encourage awareness that bikers are on our county road network, as well as putting on events to put bikers at ease rather than making them feel like outcasts or unwelcome.
For motorcycling as a whole, Staffordshire is one of the most popular parts to ride in the UK mainly because all around us we are surrounded by countryside to tour across, places to visit, biker friendly bars / cafe's / campsites etc so as a consequence of our location, Staffordshire is also popular as a cut through used by many to get to various places across the heart of Great Britian e.g. from the West Midlands to get to Oulton Park, from the East Midlands to get to Wales etc many will cut through the county and possibly use as a rest stop along the way.
